I think the person MIB took over had to die willingly for the island. Or what he thought was the island.
Jacob was just a man who was made jailor. He didnt always kknow everything for example he had never considered richards idea that evil will step in if good doesnt take a hand. |

I really dont think Locke knew a lot at that point. He was learning about the island, both physically and 'spiritually'.
At this point he probably knows pretty much everything. Certainly more than Ben or Richard. |

Maybe the island doesnt cure anything.
If people can be there that are dead maybe you can be there in a state that is not injured or ill. I am not sure what I mean but there is something tugging at my mind with this. |

blue eyes, I am havng the same problems. Like with the chess game. It seems like they were playing chess. In fact they were. But was it symbolic of the bigger game?
Maybe we just see too much in earlier scenes that really didnt mean much but I dont think so. |

| When it was shown about him being born we debated about the fact it looked like the island. the hospital was very hatchish. It wouldnt surprise me at all if he was born on the island. He didnt get nosebleeds though. |

hm something did flash back. I am not sure we are ever going to find an answer to this.
Do we know where the temple is? Was it in this area? If it is then it might come up.

| How far is the pit from the Hatch? Throwing a person in the pit wouldnt take a lot of time. Identical twins have the same dna so it would match.
I think it is her though and is alternate reality.
