You just pulled a Tabula Rasa on us so in spirit of LOST if anything it just gives us an opportunity to recreate and rehash all those earlier theories in light of what we now know with this season.

And just think..it'll give us something to do when the show actually comes to an end.

OMG Mr. Widmore! You're right! We have absolutely no posts for Season 4 anymore.

I was confused because I noticed my number of posts did not decrease which I expected.

But now with S5 under our belt, maybe it would be good to rewatch all the episodes again with this new understanding of the direction the show has taken.

Look at the bright side.......you won't have to clean house again for a LOOONNNNNGGGG time now.

As Hurley might say, "hey, dude - sucks to push the wrong button."

Now we have our mission for the summer. (Are you sure you didn't plan this to keep us busy? - lol)

If anyone wants summaries from Seasons 1, 2, and 3, I'll repost. I was going to work on posting seasons 4 & 5 once I get out of school and have time to re-watch (and type). Hope everyone will stick around to discuss. We may make more discoveries as we look over things.

I can't even imagine the amount of work keeping up this site must be. We appreciate it SO much, Mr. Widmore. Without you, we'd be, well, lost!

Hi Mr W.....That sooooo sounds like something I whould do.
Might be a good thing in the end though. I think after what happened during Season 5 a lot of old theories were outdated anyway. And like sonrisas and SandDab were saying it'll keep us busy updating.

Shame you hadn't got rid of my embarrassing "What if it's not an Island as such" theory while you were on though

I, like Sonrisas have several summaries in my notebook, so I will re-post them...The summaries have a lot of details and thoughts in them. So all is not lost.

It may be a good hiatus project to go back and re-watch season 4, with our current information things may appear different now....jump out as us more.

Seriously you have done so much for us, we could never be mad at you. It just took my breath away for a minute.

The summaries from sonrisas and blueeyes ought to get us back on track fast. They are so good.

Its about time we cleared out the cobwebs for this last season anyway.
Looking forward to the reviews from so much experience with Lost now.

This would be a good time to go back and put our notes onto the season threads. Sonrisas takes notes and I know Dharma, Sand, Anne, Frank and many others have notes from previous seasons. I know I do. So I will start organizing them and getting them ready to re-post.

Hopefully this will make Widmore feel better and give us a great chance to review our old notes.

At least we have a list of the questions we wanted answered from season 1 and 2 on here still. There are a lot of season 5 threads gone as well. I have not been as dedicated this season with notes but I am willing to rewatch and post summaries. If we all pitch in it will be a lot easier. I will post my summaries soon as I saved most of them onto notepad and I can just paste them back here.

Don't stress over this Mr. Widmore, we will recreate the information/threads.....It is the least we can do for all the great things you have done for us.

i think we should refer to this as "the incident". obviously it was predestined, and would have ended up happening one way or another anyway.

plus it works in my favor... now, only half my theories can be proven wrong!

Mr. Widmore, if all the posts were deleted it would be very much worthwhile starting over. The people in here are so nice, interesting, intelligent and fun how could we not want to keep this going?

I agree about rewatching with new eyes would be a very good idea right now. I don't really have any organized notes - just a bunch of things I jot down in my "Dharma Notebook" as I watch episodes sometimes. But I'm totally game to do my share.

I remember seeing on Lostpedia that for each episode there's a LOST summary. I can start by copy/pasting the earlier episodes into their appropriate spots on our Forum... Then maybe as we rewatch we can all throw in our two cents worth. I know I'm just itching to watch the first seasons again to get a better grasp on this whole Jacob/Smokie/Nemesis thing.

Not sure if adding the summaries would be possible at this point, cause it wouldn't be at the top of the thread. Let me know if you think it wouldn't mess up the threads...but I think it might.

But, I am surprised you don't have a "back up." If we have learned nothing else from Lost, it is that you need to be sure you've got a failsafe at all times.

As you can see above, none of us could possibly be upset with you over this.

And, don't forget: no matter how bad something may seem, things could always be worse. If anything, it must have been nice to see how beloved you are. You are, you know?

Hey Guys! Lostpedia announced that several sites are collaborating with a "Lost Rewatch" to watch ALL (103) the episodes of Lost starting June 1st.

I just looked on ABC -- it looks like all the seasons' episodes are complete EXCEPT Season 5 -- which starts with "The Variable" and ends with "The Incident". I don't think S5 will be released on DVD until December, if I remember right.

If anyone has any other place to view archived episodes (especially from this season), please let us know.

Also, Dharma, I think the Lostpedia summaries will be just fine. I had thought that they might be too long, but after you posted the first one, it's really not that bad and I love having some of the screen caps!

as for the lost rewatch, I also saw that info this morning! Pretty cool. I think you can also register with your email address and they'll notify you when there is new content.

The rewatch will span from June 1 to January 3, and during this time we will watch all 103 hours of Lost - perfect - now I just need to find time to watch as many as possible.

Oh that is great Sand. I joined the LOST rewatch on facebook and I was about to go out and buy the DVD's. I have not been on ABC in forever because someone said they took down all the episodes....That is the BEST NEWS I've heard all day!!!!!

JoOpinionated is on my friends list on facebook and she does a great blog if anyone is interested. She also covers many other shows. Now I can't wait for June first....Is someone starting a rewatch thread here? Point me in the direction

A friend told me that after watching so many minutes you have to download or join something....but I have never had any problems.......or had to join ior download anything.
But I never watch more than one episode at a time.
It did let me watch The Incident comercial free the day after it was screened in the USA

Wid, I’m so sorry that happened to you and even more that you worried about our feelings!

I'd been away for so long that the number of new posts to read was in the thousands. I knew I couldn't get caught up and I didn't want to post something that someone else just had - so this happening is kind of like a weight lifted off!

I missed you'z guys so much and realize how much of my everyday life stress that gets wiped away when I'm on here!! Everyone gets a new life on this island!!
